EPR REGISTRATION SERVICES

EXTENDED PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY COMPLIANCE — CPCB REGISTERED EXPERTS

What is Extended Producer Responsibility?

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a mandatory environmental policy framework under which producers, importers, and brand owners (PIBOs) are legally responsible for the end-of-life management of the products they place on the Indian market.

Why EPR Compliance Matters

India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) has notified EPR rules across four major waste streams — Plastic Waste, E-Waste, Tyre Waste, and Battery Waste. Managed by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), these rules require businesses to register, set annual collection targets, and file compliance returns.

Non-compliance leads to penalties, environmental compensation levies, product import restrictions, and in severe cases, criminal prosecution under the Environment Protection Act, 1986. Our experts ensure you are registered and compliant well before regulatory deadlines.
